Drawing Dept is looking to expand our team! We are looking for talented candidates - for a full-time position - that are passionate about design at all scales and thrive working in an energetic, open-studio, collaborative environment.
Founded in 2005, Drawing Dept has garnered over 75 design awards for both residential and small commercial projects. We are a group of exceptional people who create unique and inspired experiences that have an enduring impact on our clients and community. We have a client-centric practice rooted in a collaborative culture. We are a horizontally structured office lacking titles and favoring a generalist approach where everyone is expected to participate in all aspects of a project from beginning to end.
Must-have—
Minimum 3-10 years of experience working for an architectural firm
(Recent graduates with internship experience may be considered)
An architectural degree from an accredited school
Proficiency in AutoCad, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
Excellent graphic abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice-to-have—
Experience with high-end, custom, residential single-family construction methodologies and detailing
LEED accreditation

Professional level of diligence; evidence that you understand the value of double-checking, proofreading, asking questions, and otherwise being fully engaged in the work at hand

A decent sense of humor and depth of completely random trivia a plus
